Setting is lovely and staff are friendly however I had issues with false allergy labelling, so please take this into consideration if you have an allergy and are going to eat here.
I ordered a smoothie bowl as it was indicated to be GF on the menu and I have coeliac disease so this is important. As always, we checked at the counter when ordering that this was actually the case. When the bowl arrived it had granola with oats in (oats currently aren’t considered gluten free according to Australian legislation) so I asked a waiter to double check with the kitchen. When he returned he said that the granola does indeed have gluten in so it is extremely lucky that I triple checked. Coeliac is a life threatening condition and gluten free labelling should be taken very seriously.
Not to mention the smoothie bowl had no actual smoothie in it and was actually just yoghurt, granola and berries.
My partner ate the bowl as I don’t like to cause a fuss however we would not have ordered it if we had known it had gluten in it.
If you have no allergies I’m sure this would be a great place to eat, but if you do, I would probably avoid.
