Waters Edge Restaurant Batemans Bay

The most disappointing restaurant experience. It took 90 minutes to get entreès. Mains were served whilst some were still eating entrees. Their oysters cooked beyond recognition, small hard lumps and burnt aldi nuggets in dirty oil for my grandson. Not offered a drink for half an hour so couldnt even drink our blues away. . Special occasion birthday, booked days in advance, put inside next to kitchen door , in an empty restaurant ( despite being a lovely evening and views outside. Their nod, yet inability to understand dietary requirements has had me ill all week and cancelling activities. DO NOT go there if you have any serious allergies or coeliac. This is not fine dining, despite the exorbitant prices being charged for whatever it is they can be bothered to offer. We thought about walking out. Should have. I can only assume the place has changed hands. The whole experience, being a rare and special birthday occasion, left me in tears.

Beautiful. Couldn't ask for more. Food presentation and taste amazing. Gluten free options didn't feel like missing out. Staff very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back again.

Fabulous food, friendly service, only too willing to accommodate my issues of gluten and dairy free diet. All done with a sense of humour and friendly smile. Will return.
