I agree with other reviewers that the shop has a habit of upselling and pushing menu items. It will be daunting if you are not used to these sort of sale tactics that restaurants in China will use. But given I was there for the first time, I appreciated some recommendations. Food overall was pretty good and the home made gluten with briased beef was my favourite. Overall, worth a visit but do be prepared for a chatty lady boss and waitress.

The boss is very enthusiastic! The food is super delicious, the taste of old Tianjin! The cumin mutton is charred on the outside and tender on the inside. It’s the best thing I’ve eaten in Sydney! Du Gluten is also the taste of childhood! The only drawback is that the steamed stuffed buns are a bit light and dry~
