Wine flights were delicious and a good deal! We stopped by for drinks and snacks. They have a gluten free option for their flatbreads which was tasty. We sat at the bar inside and the bartender was attentive and helpful. Their big thing is frozé which you can get in a bag to go. I didn’t have them but my friend did and she said they were delightful and refreshing!

I was blown away by the food here. We had the shrimp and grits, a flatbread with the gluten-free crust, and a charcuterie board. That first bite of the shrimp and grits, wow… if I had died right after, I would have been ok with that, it was that amazing. The flat bread was packed with toppings and flavor, and the charcuterie board has this amazing vinegary bacon jam that is to die for. I enjoyed their cucumber collins with my meal and it was perfectly refreshing, a beautiful cocktail for a late lunch. The service by RJ was 5-stars. I docked a star because the place needs a good scrub down… it’s just dirty in there. Not the tables or utensils, but the surfaces and bathrooms, the carpet when you walked in. I don’t know of this is what gives the place a musky spell or it’s just that it’s an old building. This almost made me walk out, but at the end, I’m glad I stayed.

This restaurant was recommended to us as an allergy friendly option as my husband & I are gluten/dairy free. We arrived and asked our waitress if a couple of dishes were prepared with any gluten, as the menu was unclear. Unfortunately, she seemed uncertain and suggested that we, given our specific allergies, would know best whether the dishes contained gluten. Despite our follow-up questions, she didn’t check with the kitchen for clarity, which was disappointing. We decided to risk it as a salmon and salad dish didn't seem like they'd have gluten. Once our dishes arrived, both plates had cheeses that weren't listed on the menu, so we had to pick them off. While the food itself was quite good once adjusted, the lack of awareness and effort to accommodate our restrictions was a letdown. I’m hoping this was just an off night for the staff, as the potential for a great experience was there.
