West Desert Grill

The food was good, however when presented with a meal that our dairy free, gluten free family member could not eat. Since another member could eat the meal at a later time we asked if the meal could be taken, we were told yes. The manager on duty charged us for both meals. Then proceeded to make the effort to come outside as we were leaving and tell us that we weren't classy or honest. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone given this experience despite the good food. Keep in mind I rarely rate restaurants. I am not from the area and my family member would have been made violently ill had they partaken of the original meal prepared for them. Be wary of the manager, but the waitress was pleasant as punch.

We live in SLC and come down to Delta frequently as my wife grew up there. We LOVE West Desert Grill (and have been coming to it since "Red Rabbit" days and long before)! My wife is gluten sensitive and always gets the gluten free crust on the Delta Valley Veggie, which I always get the regular version of the same. Love prefer the West Desert Grill pizza to ANY pizza place in Salt Lake City. So, bravo! We'll be down again soon.
