I asked for a vegan and gluten free option and the teller recommended vegetarian fried rice. I said that would have to be without the egg then, and she was actually surprised.
When I asked what would be in it instead of the egg, another worker suggested to add tofu for $5.
I didn’t want an upsell, I wanted to know the ingredients in it, and if they would bother to make it with a bit more veggies to make it balanced as I don’t want to just pay for a plainer dish.
Was not a great experience unfortunately.
Make sure your staff know what vegan is, and also add a vegan gluten free option to your menu is my suggestion.
