West Malling Cafe

I came across Ragamuffins today while out with the family and the gluten free hash browns were brilliant. Great service.

With very little notice, I needed to find someone to provide a vegetarian/vegan lunch for twenty three people in West Malling. The local cafes were unable to help but fortunately, the cook at one of them recommended Ragamuffins. That was, in itself, reassuring, but when I met Kenna, saw her menus, saw her calm and thoughtful suggestions for the lunch I immediately let go and trusted her judgment. ( The only requests I made was for the chocolate cake and the coffee cake. And they were absolutely delicious). As for everything else, Kenna decided.Sandwiches, salads, some very familiar tastes and some very unusual. All delicious.. Kenna even provided, at very last moment, a gluten-free option. Amazing. And it was all delivered, beautifully presented, exactly at the time we requested. Highly recommended. My only regret is that I didn’t take photos of the spread. So, if you are in West Malling, look for Ragamuffins, a mother and daughter run cafe, with excellent food and cakes. We didn’t try the coffee but I’m sure it is equally excellent. And they even offer spent coffee grounds, carefully packaged, for gardeners to take. For free!
