Whitby Castle

My husband and I had our wedding here in January of 2022. The food was amazing, the staff is amazing, the reception hall was perfect. Niki and Ralph are so easy to work with and accommodating, chef Fernando was brilliant, and we even had a staff member (Willy we are so thankful) pull us aside during cocktail hour to make sure we ate!!! My husband has a gluten allergy and they worked with us effortlessly. So very thankful to them !

From the beginning stages of booking this venue for our wedding, our experience with Whitby Castle was excellent. We had to reschedule due to COVID, but they were so accommodating with re-booking us and even switching us from a Sunday night to a Saturday night wedding. Our guests had a great time, and so did we. Niki and Ralph helped us make our menu as vegan and gluten-free as possible, which we truly appreciated. They gave us so many great options and the food was fantastic! On the wedding day, Ralph was always there to see that everything went smoothly and help us with whatever we needed. Our bridal attendant, Rosa, also went above and beyond for us. When one of our guests had to urgently leave to catch a train, Ralph was there to help and Rosa literally drove her to the train station! We couldn't believe how generous they were. All of the staff were professional, friendly, and followed safety procedures like wearing masks and gloves at all times. We highly recommend Whitby Castle. You couldn't ask for a more beautiful venue or a more accommodating staff.
