I never expected to find gluten free Thai food in a tiny town like this, but wow, this spot completely blew me away. It’s run by the sweetest older couple and you can feel the love in everything they serve. Nothing fancy, just honest food done right.
I ordered the pad see ew with beef and my wife had the shrimp pad Thai. The noodles were thick, chewy, and clearly made in-house. Full of flavor, not greasy, and cooked perfectly. The pad Thai had that slightly sweet, savory kick with a squeeze of lime that brought it all together. Easily some of the best gluten free noodles we’ve had in years.
Almost everything on the menu can be made gluten free. I originally tried to order the egg rolls and the owner came over to gently let me know that was one of the only items they couldn’t modify. He was kind and super informed about cross contamination and safe options, which made me feel so much more comfortable.
It’s not a fast meal. It takes a bit for the food to come out, but it’s completely worth the wait. We were the only ones there when we arrived and almost didn’t go in because it’s tucked away in a random parking lot. But by the time we left, the place was packed. Locals clearly know this is a gem.
If you’re gluten free and anywhere nearby, do not miss this place. Everything about it feels like a well-kept secret you’ll want to tell your best friend about.
