Visited to see the exhibition and dumplings and tea, Beautiful space, with minimalist design. We visited to have dumplings and tea. They have a lunch time offer where you can get dumplings and a drink (including alcohol options) for only a little bit extra cost. They offer gluten free and vegan dumplings, however, I was disappointed to find out that you can only get 5 GF/vegan dumplings for the same price as 10 non-GF or vegan dumplings. This seems a bit of a shame, otherwise tasty, but just left hungry after a very small lunch of 5 dumplings. Lychee tea is very tasty.

I love the entire philosophy of this place! Knowledge sharing with the world through a shared journey that touches the heart in a way things that provoke the mind, should. INTERIOR: Old meets new starts with their converted car warehouse. The aesthetic is clean, crisp and yet welcoming, friendly & full of history. White spacious areas, highlight unique art pieces. The art gallery is constantly kept fresh with new pieces. COVID SAFE: Out of all the places I've been, this one is the most thorough. With detailed check ins & constant upkeep on cleanliness in the dining area. STAFF: Hit & miss. They're all friendly. Some are more efficient than others. If anything, I'd add that the fact that they stand around just talking to one another and not rushing around cleaning/clearing things, does add to a relaxed vibe on the plus side. BIGGEST HIT: They sell my favourite gluten free dumplings. I can't get enough of these. The woman & her family who make them are so lovely & passionate & it's beyond beautiful that they support both this dietary type & such a beautiful business. (I'm not sure where the non gf ones are from but my partner loves them too). I should add you cannot get these friend. All dumplings come steamed. They have gf soy sauce, just be sure to ask for it. It's challenging to find a good tea house as nourishing to the senses as those that I dined in, when in China. From the furniture to the tea selection, this place is great. LOCATION: About 7 minutes walk from Central train station or 15 minutes walk from Redfern train station, there's also metered parking in the side streets. TIP: Little Queen Street is often best for parking. The tea room can get busy. If going, try just before or after peak lunch time. Highly recommend, will continue to go!
