Ate at this white spot location for a 10 person family birthday dinner on a Saturday night and was less than impressed. My partner and I are plant based, so I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Donburi Bowl without chicken ($21) while my partner ordered the Avocado Impossible Burger ($21).
My bowl had soggy rice and had so much teriyaki sauce that I couldn’t eat the rice due to the overwhelming sweetness. My partners burger was made wrong (asked for no sauce and gluten free bun), but it came with a regular bun and sauce. They remade the burger, but returned it with the original fries, which were now cold and soggy.
For the price that white spot now charges for their food, I was expecting a far superior experience, as I can easily find better food at the same the price (for plant based) at a place like Earls or Cactus Club, or for far cheaper at plant based restaurants
