What a nightmare. Back in Los Angeles, Whole Foods was known as"Whole Paycheck." Simply put, it's a rip off. Much worse than all the other gouging going on now. I was looking for a gluten-free pumpkin pie and of course online it shows that it's $8.00 but when I went in it was TWENTY DOLLARS.
I also have to return something to Amazon and they refused to give me any type of paper receipt. I only went because it was the only place I could use a QR code. While here, I decided to pick up the pie.
I tried to explain to customer service that there is absolutely nothing there that says it's amazon, and she pointed to the smile and I explained that many people here don't have English as a first language and they really should put an Amazon sign. Also, how hard can it be to provide me with some type of receipt? They make a million dollars a minute and just south of 60 million dollars AN HOUR, they're not exempt for making mistakes. And since I didn't get the email receipt, I wanted something. They refused so I just took a picture of them and took a picture of the code that they put on the product.
It's not like going to ups, it's like going directly to Amazon which it is so they take the product out of the box.
Store smelled great but other than that the entire experience was revolting.
