Wildcraft Grill + Long Bar

We booked this location for a large group. They were able to accommodate our request for a specific seating time. The table and seating area were comfortable and the noise level was reasonable. We had two servers assigned for 14 people. They were very busy so service was somewhat uneven. We were very happy with the selection of food from meat to vegetarian to gluten-free and vegan options. Unfortunately, some of the food delivered to our table was lukewarm because they left it under the heaters too long. I don’t fault the kitchen. I believe the service staff were very busy. They forgot our meals until we asked for the status of our entrees. Overall, a great place to meet with a large group. But be prepared for some service gaps on a busy night. The table next to us with six people had the manager and a server doting on them all night, even though our table spent more money!!

Wildcraft Grill in Waterloo is an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was inviting and elegantly cozy, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. As the host checked on a table for us, another team member swiftly ensured we were being assisted—such seamless and courteous service. The wine selection was exceptional, with our knowledgeable server offering tastings of their latest varieties, making the experience even more enjoyable. I ordered the boneless spare back ribs, a gluten-free masterpiece served on velvety mashed potatoes, and they were succulent, tender, and bursting with flavor. The asparagus was incredibly fresh and vibrant, as if it had just been picked moments before being served. The Penne with prawns from the gluten-friendly menu was equally indulgent, with its zesty and satisfying flavors. For standout appetizer, the spicy sweet potato fries delivered the perfect balance of heat and sweetness, while the honey crisp salad with fresh apples added a refreshing and aromatic touch. Beyond the phenomenal food, the charming ambiance made the experience even more enjoyable. Our server was attentive, personable, and accommodating, ensuring every detail was perfect—including a thoughtful and complimentary dessert to end the night on a high note. Wildcraft Grill is truly a sophisticated gem, offering fantastic service, an intimate atmosphere, and mouthwatering dishes that make you want to return again and again.

We just had a celebratory dinner here and were so impressed with the menu options. It had the best vegan and gluten-free menus any of us had ever seen! Wonderful choices! Food and service were excellent, and we received a corner table which we had asked for, if it was available. We will definitely go back.
