Wildflower Cafe

The café has an autistic friendly quieter area outside which means it's weather dependent but they do have a couple of seats behind some doors inside that are slightly quieter and less visually overwhelming. Loops/defenders would be likely needed if it's busy especially around lunch time. The coffee is lovely, as is the food and they have good gluten free options from soups to battered fish. The staff are welcoming and accommodating too! The device given when waiting for a table is quite accessible as it buzzes, flashes/blinkers and makes a noise to ensure no one misses their table is ready whilst browsing - it might be a bit overstimulating for some folks as all three go off at the same time but it's not very loud. But there is a button on it, most likely to stop it notifying.

The Wildflower Café made me a beautiful vegan jam-and-cream sponge birthday cake that got rave reviews from vegan and non-vegan eaters! Bernie was a huge help with the organising! Also, a gem for gluten free treats and meals! A great find 👌🏻
