Excitedly sent my husband over to pickup "gluten free donuts" only to find after the purchase that they are fried in the same fryer as all other regular flour donuts. Called in attempt to explain that even a gluten allergy can be triggered by frying a gluten free donut in grease that has flour in it. Hoping there would maybe an alternative, perhaps baked option would be offered however, I was told "people love them just like they are.." and "we know what we are doing"... Clearly Willoughby's staff are unaware of what makes something gluten free. Too bad, because they looked great and were expensive.
