Willow Tree Cafe

Fantastic menu that has toasties and burgers etc, perfect when you are just wanting to get a quick lunch while travelling through, but also has dining in options. The menu is perfect for people on a gluten free diet and I was able to get a delicious chicken, cheese and avo melt on gluten free bread. The chicken was perfectly cooked and so succulent. The coffee was also quite good. My daughter had a ham and cheese toastie, and the ham was actually good quality and tasted like Christmas ham. You can tell that a lot of thought and effort goes into this cafe and they use quality ingredients. And they are open at Sunday lunchtime!! I travel this road a lot and this is now my go-to place for lunch after today’s visit. Such a relief to find some lunch that meets my dietary requirements. The two young girls also had amazing customer service, and were so mature and polite.

I walked in at 1:50pm on a Friday for lunch as closing time on the sign was 3pm. I was greeted by a rude male that said "we're closing you've got two minutes" needless to say I took my business to a more friendlier cafe. On the Sunday we returned for bfast. Waited over 1.5hrs for food after we put our order in. One of my friends asked for no egg but came out with egg. She explained she asked for no egg as she is allergic. One lady behind the Barista machine said "people ask for gluten free but aren't coeliac" others not her call! and were told "they lost the toilet key" so we had to leave to find public toilet for our kids.
