Wine Shop At Rivergate

This is a nice little place to get a great glass of wine and a pretty good meal. My wife and I stopped in on a whim a few weeks ago just to get out of the house. It was a Friday evening and we were told we need a reservation to sit at a table or we could just sit at the bar....the bar it was. We enjoyed our service and the wine was very good. The food was fresh and there were options for a gluten free diet. There is an area that you can shop for bottles of wine, cider and beer. I think there is champagne also. They even have a small selection of cigars albeit the garden variety. There is a patio area for when the weather is decent too. All in all not a bad little place, the only ding I'd give is on the cost of the full bottle of wine, but I understand that it would be hard to justify the cost of a glass of wine if the bottle price was any lower. It's just the nature of this business model. Stop in and get a sip and nibble, you won't be disappointed.
