I decided to try this place after searching for gluten free places and reading a review about how many options there are. I asked the hostess station about a gluten free menu and she said didn't think there was one. Later as we were seated she did show up with one.
Their sauce has gluten so be prepared there will be no sauce and burnt ends are cooked in the sauce so that's a no go. When the waitress came I asked about the dairy in things, I realize this is a pain for places so when she said she thought it might be hard for me to eat I understood. I was getting ready to leave and go next door to Pappo's pizza as they have gluten free/dairy free pizza and it's delicious. The waitress asked me to wait a moment and got her manager. He came out and thoroughly talked to me and made some suggestions. I apologized for being difficult, and he told me it was no problem. He suggested the pulled pork and spring beans which are sautéed with garlic, oil, and wine. My husband ordered the same. The kind waitress came back and repeated the order and said we really are a team here. You could tell she has deep affection for this place. The food was very good. I was really blown away by their above and beyond help. I apologize I didn't catch their names, my husband and I had to be in different cities for two weeks and we were catching up and excited to see each other.
