Wok's Cook-In

Wow - where do I start! I am coeliac and haven’t had a Chinese in a long time. I came across Wok’s by accident , but after seeing the amount of gluten free opinions on their menu and reading some reviews we decided to give it a go. When I arrived I was warmly greeted by the young lady at the desk, I explained that I was coeliac and had a few questions to ask about food preparation / cross contamination/ fryers etc - she could not have put me any more at ease! She was able to explain in depth about how everything was prepared, the steps they go through to ensure cross contamination is controlled and it was clear to see that they took allergens seriously and were knowledgeable about them which is refreshing! 80% of their menu was gluten free! You can see right into the kitchen that was immaculately clean. Their phones were ringing continuously whilst I was waiting and it was clear to see why. We drove 25 to get there and the same on the way back - when we got home the food was still hot and wow it was so tasty! We ordered; egg fried rice, seaweed, chicken and onions in garlic sauce, c chicken with cashew nuts, sweet and sour chicken balls, crispy chilli beef and beef chow mein (free prawn crackers). My husband and 6 year old were happy and I was able to enjoy my delicious takeaway with zero anxiety about being glutened. I cannot recommend Wok’s cookin highly enough and we cannot wait to come back! Thank you Wok’s!

Fantastic place to go if you’re Coeliac or Gluten Intolerant, pretty much anything can be cooked GF. Really helpful staff, fantastic find, highly recommend
