I was excited to see the transformation from its previous life as a bank is astonishing; there’s no trace of its former identity. The decor is thoughtfully curated, with unique accents and an inviting ambiance. The standout feature is the large, central bar that serves as the restaurant’s focal point. Upstairs, the additional seating area is ideal for hosting a larger group. offering a more private and cozy experience.
As for the food, there were clear winners and a few misses. The Brussels sprouts were a standout dish—perfectly crisp and full of flavor and the squid ink pasta was another highlight. However, the meatballs didn’t quite meet my expectations and are something I’d skip next time.
For those with gluten sensitivities, Wood Stack is accommodating, offering substitutions throughout much of the menu. I’m looking forward to returning and exploring more of their offerings.
