Four of us gals stopped at Woodgrain Bagel & Deli on our girls’ trip—and after the first visit, we couldn’t stay away! We came back three times in four days because it was just that good. From the moment we walked in, the smell of fresh-baked bagels had us hooked, and the friendly, welcoming staff made the experience even better. Now, the bagels? Unmatched. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, and bursting with flavor. But what truly impressed us was the incredible gluten-free and vegan options—something you rarely find done this well! The gluten-free bagels were so good we had to double-check that they weren’t the regular ones, and the vegan spreads and toppings were just as delicious and thoughtfully crafted as everything else on the menu. Oh, and the coffee? Perfection. Rich, smooth, and the ideal pairing for the best breakfast we had on our trip. Woodgrain Bagel & Deli is an absolute must-visit! Whether you’re a bagel purist or need gluten-free and vegan options, they have something for everyone—done to perfection. We’re already counting down the days until we can come back!

This was a very last minute stop. I can tell you we had lingered by the juice bowl shop thinking about gettin something out of gotta have it now mode and i looked across the parking lot and saw this and the big piles of wood and the warmth of the restaurant and so we headed straight for this. I was pretty happy with the meal and the restaurant was pretty relaxed one of the workers looked like she rolled out of bed that relaxed. We split a 15 dollar meal between all of us and glory! we finally found a dairy free and gluten free place. This was just such a delight to find

As a guest of Woodgrain this past week, we unfortunately had an experience that was very difficult. My wife and I placed our order and worked with the cashier to communicate clearly that my wife was celiac. The cashier was very well trained, explained their process to limit cross contamination, shared fryers, etc. As a celiac you are always a bit nervous eating out, but we felt comfortable with our interaction and confidence in Woodgrains procedures. We sat down, enjoyed our coffees and waited for our food. A team member promptly brought us our food, the GF flag directly placed in one bagel. We had ordered the same dish, a Brooklyn. Both looked delicious. Both of us ate a few bites and quickly realized that the bagel labeled GF was a gluten bagel and had been enjoyed by my wife and I had enjoyed her GF bagel. Panic quickly set in as we rushed inside to communicate the mistake. The manager quickly and sincerely apologized as we took down some info and ran out. A hospital visit and multiple days of sickness has ensued. As well as a call from the owner, who also was sincerely apologetic. We stepped away from this experience disappointed that a team takes the time to train their staff on proper procedure to deal with and communicate allergies, but completely drop the ball on follow through and making a guest very ill. We know it wasn’t intentional, we hope this helps others understand the serious nature of food service and the time and effort it takes to perform at 100% all the time under immense pressure.
