Waiting staff were polite, friendly and professional. All my dietary needs were catered for. I had salmon, new potatoes and greens. My boyfriend had steak, chunky chips, garlic mushrooms, sauce and cooked tomatoes. My food was delicious. However, the steak was a little chewy for his liking. If it wasn't for the steak I'd have given a 5* for food. The rest of his dinner was delicious. Customer service was10/10. My boyfriend received an apology and very adequate compensation. For the first time in months,I had the option of a delicious brownie, served with dairy free ice cream. It is rare to find any pubs that offer delicious gluten and dairy options. The toilets were clean with plenty of toilet paper. I would definitely recommend the Wooden Fender.
