I’ve been eating at the Trowbridge location since 2001, when I was pregnant with my son. That child is now finishing their doctorate at MSU. I’ve never had an opportunity to live in Lansing but always made it a point to stop through for a togo order when I am nearby. The food is always consistent, fairly priced and above and beyond everything else, delicious! My order of the last 24 years has involved some combination of the items pictured. The only other thing that I consistently get is a cauliflower wrap. The vegetarian grape leaves, baba ganoush and falafel are also really good. They have so many vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free items available. Their menu is very clearly labeled.

This is my #1 Middle Eastern restaurant. I visit every time I'm in Lansing! Been eating where since I was a little kid. So good I get food to eat and food to go - I especially love the lentil and rice soup, which I swear gets better as it sits in the fridge. Other highlights: baba ganouj, the vegan rice pudding, hashwi. Always a plus that all vegan and gluten free options are clearly labeled. And they were very helpful with my husband's dairy and nut allergies. I just wish the falafel was GF, I miss it so much.
