World Famous Sheffield Pies - Sheffield store

Their reputation precedes them at the Sheffield Pie Shop. Everyone knows to swing by here any time you are on a trip over to the wild Worst Coast. That being said the experience has chopped and changed over the years since I have been going there. The pies have always been phenomenal with a great range, however they are NOT receptive to special dietary needs (if you are gluten free this might be that once a year treat..). Despite the great rep they get, I have noticed the service go downhill over the last few years. Staff seem grumpy (and who can blame them with how busy it gets) - but come on guys. Lots of them seem like they don’t want to be there and get frustrated if you want more than one pie (maybe get a few staff a stool to sit on so they don’t have the unbearable pain of bending to reach in the hot hutch too many times!). Will always back the pies but have been let down by the service a few too many times now.

Food was good as was service. The only thing I would fault it on is that everyone seems under pressure as it's such a popular place. Sometimes there is a line out the doors. Not sure how that can be improved upon. Perhaps less tasty food so not as crowded? Otherwise more gluten free savories would be nice 👍
