Ordered 5 items. Recommend gluten rice w/pork (竹筒糯米), lion heads(獅子頭), Shanghai style fried rice (上海菜飯) and Chongqing spicy chicken (重庆辣子雞). We think griddle beef (干鍋牛腩) is better served dine-in. In retrospect, we think the gluten rice is better consumed separately, otherwise, its taste overwhelms that of the Shanghai fry rice. On the lion heads dish, it is often immersed in soy sauce soup but XLB cooked it in a clear soup and the result is great. We did not order xlb. Again, it is just personal preference to have xlb only @ dine-in since they are better served fresh off the steamer.

The Shanghai dumplings have a lot of juice, and the wrapping are not broken. So it tastes pretty good. The glutenous rice in bamboo covered with stewed pork is very good except too much sauce making the rice too salty. The minced beef with egg white soup is not a bad choice after eating a salty dish.
