Super tasty customizable soup! We just stumbled across this place for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Today was our third time coming back, and we've loved it every time! You pick a bunch of veggies and noodles and stuff and give them the bowl, and five or ten minutes later they return it as delicious malatang soup! We've tried the original beef stock broth, the tom yum, and the curry broth, and loved all three of them! Warning that even the medium spicy level is not for the faint of heart. Big variety of proteins and vegetables to choose from. Pay by weight, and it can be easy to rack up the price with all those options. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Not super friendly for celiac folks and other severe allergies and such, with the shared tongs and everything; cross-contamination is basically inevitable. Love the dipping sauce side bar. They managed to find a seat for us even the one time we went when they were really busy on the weekend. Service is super friendly. Atmosphere is clean and crisp and inviting. Definitely would recommend! We'll certainly be back.

I asked if any of the soup bases were gluten free and they accommodated me very well, and were very kind about it. Not celiac, but I didn't have any reaction. Good food, exceptional staff!
