My boyfriend and I travelled to the village for a small Christmas get-away, as he had his birthday during our stay we booked a meal at the restaurant. I can honestly say it was the best meal I've had. The food was absolutely incredible, and they offered gluten free and vegan options. I had the roasted broccoli and cauliflower, I don't like cauliflower normally but I didn't want meat or fish that night so I decided to give it a go, and I throughly enjoyed it. There was so much flavour, it was served with pea shoots, pine nuts and golden sultanas which combined with the sauces made the meal absolutely mouthwatering. I had the creme brulee with blackcurrant sorbet for dessert and it was equally as good. We had 3 courses (shared starter) and spent £100 total. The ingredients were all locally sourced and the quality of the food was well worth the price. The staff were lovely and it was all-together a wonderful meal. I'd definitely love to go again, the chefs are insanely talented!
