Good food, great beverages. I was pleasantly surprised by the gluten sensitivity section of the menu

I have celiac disease, so the gluten free menu is more limited. My food was good and the regular food the others had was great. A great bar too! Service was great and they were able to sit us quickly.

Super high end place downtown Indianapolis. Easy to get to from anywhere by walking. Close to the stadium the convention center the arena. We went on a Friday during one of the busiest weekends in Indianapolis, GENCON. With no appointment and a party of 8 they said 35 minutes to seat us, which is completely reasonable. While we waited they said we could go to the bar and unfamiliar with the ton of draft and bottled beers they had I asked the bartender for ‘something red and low IBU’ and for my friend ‘something blonde and hoppy’ and she made two quick suggestions off the top of her head. There was no looking around or stammering or looking for help. It felt like she knew every beer there and had an answer within seconds. She told us the names and origins of the beers. One was local. I’m not a huge beer snob, but I was thoroughly impressed with knowledge and service. The bartender addressed us as we approached and we had beers within minutes. Good pours with good head, super cold out of the tap. Walking through the place I noticed there were a lot of empty tables. I thought it was odd since there was a waiting list and then it dawned on me, they rather have empty tables than overwork the staff. So instead of killing their employees and making customers wait and give poor service, they would rather have a waiting list. I am very satisfied with that decision, owners/management should be commended! The menu was impressive, there were a ton of good food options. Gluten free and Vegan/vegetarian options available. The menu seemed expansive but wasn’t overwhelming. Our waitress was wonderful but definitely not pesky. She always showed up when we needed something or was always nearby by never hounded or bothered us. My one friend is vegan and I ordered the 8 ounces of animal cruelty to be funny and she knew exactly what I wanted. Knowledge of menu and offerings was spot on. I’m bad with names sometimes and wish I could call out the server and bartender by name. But if the two employees I dealt with directly are any indication of the rest of the staff the training and customer service cannot be beat. Prices were fair for a high end establishment. Music in the background was audible but not annoying. Tons of TVs with different games etc. Edit: Went again this year, again another phenomenal experience. "Peaches" (Erica) was awesome.
