intimate omakase experience. a bit slow (they served each course to the whole restaurant at the same time) so don’t come too hungry. gluten free friendly (they replaced two courses and used tamari).
we sat at the bar and chef showed us the actual fish most of the sashimi / nigiri was from which was a fun learning experience. took us around 2 hours to finish (we’re the first group to arrive for our 8:15 time slot).
ambiance is great, fish is fresh and tasty although I’ve had better sushi for cheaper in LA, the only meh part is the slower pace. overall 4.5!
