Yavis Family Restaurant & PropRoom Lounge

Our lovely server Mali made our kid’s night (after a long, hot day in the hoodoos and museum) by bringing jello with whipped cream in a fancy cup. She also provided crayons and a colouring page, quick, super friendly service, and good food. Any parent with cranky, overstimulated/overtired kids will appreciate this place. The menu has a variety of options, good for those of us with allergies or gluten issues (I got a deconstructed burger, no bun, but there were lots of other gluten-free options). Not being a local I can’t compare it to much else in town, and I can’t say I’ll be raving about the food for months to come, but I can say Yavi’s is a solid place for good food and very good service.

We went there for the gluten free burgers which were just sloppy, grease patties on stale, white slices of cardboard bread. The service was really good but the food was unpalatable.

Good family restaurant with lots of menu items to choose from. If you are looking for gluten free options, they do offer a good gf pizza crust with lots of toppings to choose from.
