Yellow Mountain Tea House

This place is a hidden gem. The food is hand made and oh so very good. The service is also really great and everyone is very nice. They have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options, which is great! Give yourself some extra time to wait on your food (rest, enjoy the atmosphere, and sip on your tea☺️)

I have frequented the establishment multiple times & dealt with 3 employees being berated in public view. The employees were always kind, welcoming, and very helpful. Regardless of what the owner claims, she should never have addressed them in front of customers but rather privately. It was unprofessional, inappropriate, and unnecessary. On another occasion, the owner made a group of people get up and move mid meal to another table because she wanted to seat someone else there & it was those same employees that apologized on behalf of her for her behavior. Additionally, the owner told me something was gluten free & it was one of those employees that corrected her & saved me from getting sick. This is absolutely unacceptable as the owner should be familiar with what things are being made in the very establishment she is in charge of. Overall, the staff are wonderful people but the owner constantly embarrasses, belittles, and simply does not care for her employees. By all means, DO NOT visit this establishment because it is ran at the expense of the mental health and well-being of each and every employee.
