Yolks

We met up with a friend for brunch on a busy weekend. We had about a 25 min wait, and there are no reservations on the weekend. We'll worth the wait for a good breakfast and solid portions! We were surprised that many of the menu items are gluten-free as well! Parking was a nightmare, but that is the area, so it is normal. Our server was great. She was well informed about the menu and anything we were not able to have. This was another breakfast spot checked off the list, and it will be one we go to again!

Breakfast was delicious. My only complaint is that the food wasn’t hot. It arrived slightly warmer than room temp so was cold while eating most of it. But it was very yummy, the truffle lemon potatoes were AMAZING. The eggs were “perfectly poached” as is their tagline. Tons of GF options for my celiac partner and lots of customizations you can make to your meal. It was all good food and felt nice and fresh. The fruit side was a little sad but the roasted tomato was lovely. Table service was fantastic, door service could use some work. It’s very handy that they text you when your table is ready so you don’t have to hang around, and you can track the status online. Will definitely return and dying to try the chicken and waffles next time. Overall an 8.5/10, really happy to have another brunch option in the Glebe!
