Yorkie's B-B-Q and Catering

We used Yorkie's to cater our family cornhole tournament and it couldn't have gone any better. We were able to place a custom order with gluten-free options and were guided through the entire process, including how to estimate the right amount of food. The order was on time and delicious! Will order from Yorkie's again.

Absolutely fantastic. To be honest, I kinda wanted to hate this place as when I called to place an order the girl was a little rude with me. My husband has Celiac disease and as such can't eat wheat. Some bbq sauces will use wheat as well as some fries if they are coated. Their menu does not list gluten free items so I asked if their ribs were. In a very annoyed tone I heard the person who answered my phone order shout to the kitchen "are ribs gluten free". It was a little jarring just as her tone seemed as if I was annoying her. I then asked if their fries were gluten free and she again sounded annoyed with me. She asked if I'd like any other sides and I asked if any others are gluten free and she said she thought the beans were. I said yes please if the beans are gluten free we will have them and she responded that she "wasnt the expert" on gluten free foods. Then why tell me when I asked??? At this point I was beyond irritated and I asked if she could check with the kitchen staff since I need to know for an allergy. She honestly did sound nicer at the end of the phone call but I was very put off with how annoyed she sounded for me wanting to verify I wasn't ordering food that could harm my husband. The food itself luckily was amazing. My burger was so delicious and the fries may honestly be the best fries I've ever had. The beans were different, more tomatoey and sweet than I'm used to but was really good. The ribs were ok. Tender but not the greatest sauce we've ever had. Definitely will be back to try more but will hopefully speak with someone who isn't as annoyed to accommodate people with allergies. I also think they seem to have an overall pretty good job of enforcing social distancing, but I do wish their employees wore face masks.
