Sat down at our table and a server immediately came over to ask for my drink order. I did not have time to look at the menu yet and needed a minute. I wasn't sure whether I wanted an alcohol beverage or a fountain drink. The waitress scoffed and came back to take my order.
I asked for a gluten free menu and was provided one. The toast was priced at $5.10 for two pieces of bread. That felt extreme but I wanted bread with my salad.
I ordered a Greek salad which was a generous size and was tasty.
The butter and jelly stand provided did not have enough butter in it and I asked a manager for some. This was met with what was perceived as annoyance for asking.
I think that it was fair to ask for butter for bread I was paying $5 for.
Our server did well with making sure my drink was filled but offered limited interaction. I don't feel like she spoke much to us until it was time to leave.
Based on this experience and the price on gluten free options, I don't think I'll be back. While I understand gluten free items cost more typically, that price gap for 2 pieces of bread was more than I've ever noted eating out gluten free.
