Yuzu Bowl and Bistro

We came across this restaurant by accident when looking for a sushi restaurant while wandering around downtown Kelowna at 4pm. These guys are open through the lunch and dinner hour which is very convenient. The other sushi place we tried first didn't open until 5pm. And I was so glad that the other guys were not open because Yuzu was a fusion revelation! Their food was really delicious! Their Chicken Karaage was super flavourful and filling. The Sweet Chili sauce was robust and definitely not the usual gel-like sauce that comes in a bottle. Their Prawn Nori Taco was an absolute revelation of flavour and texture! I am a professional chef and love to experiment but would never have dreamed up this crispy creation on my own. To make it even more appealing their price points were very reasonable. I was so excited to have found this gem of a restaurant and I will definitely be back! This will also be my new go-to outlet for take-out/delivery. Really, Really Good Food! I cannot recommend them highly enough. I noted on the menu that they also accommodate Gluten-Free needs so it's a great place for celiacs to visit confidently.

This has quickly become one of our favourite restaurants in Kelowna. Beautiful presentation and taste and very fair pricing. The pork belly bowl is not to be missed (gluten free) and my bf loves their ramen. A hidden gem - it’s crazy that there aren’t lineups for a restaurant of this calibre… super cute inside too!
