I came across this restaurant while searching for gluten-free options. The entrance to the restaurant, which is an alleyway off the main street in front of Yasaka Shrine, can be hard to find, but thanks to its secluded location, it's a relaxing, hidden gem where time passes slowly. The female staff are gentle and seem to be fluent in English, so it's a comfortable restaurant for customers from overseas.

A super charming place hidden in a small alley. The waitresses are super friendly, they speak English and are learning all the languages of the customers who are going to eat there! Vegan and gluten free. I went to eat alone but ended up having a very entertaining conversation with everyone who was present (Italian, Colombian, USA, Japanese and Vietnamese!) The food is super delicious, simple and fresh...don't leave without trying the chocolate cake!!!
