Nice food and very accommodating of my gluten free diet.
However, 45 minutes after we placed our order, there was no sign of our food. I asked the waitress and it turned out our ticket had been 'lost'. The waitress apologised and our food came promptly afterwards.
Of course, I fully understand that mistakes happen - we are all human! However, I was surprised that we were not offered any compensation and that we were still expected to pay service charge. Furthermore, we had to chase for the bill and eventually ended up walking around the restaurant to find a member of staff to take the payment.
The meal was lovely, but I really was not impressed by the service. I have heard of many friends who've had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant, so perhaps this is just a one off!
