My daughter and I went in for lunch today. I cannot eat gluten (as I get very sick) and ordered a gluten free fried rice, and a normal pad thai for my daughter. I confirmed with the lady who served us, that my fried rice would be gluten free. A few minutes later I heard the chef ask 'gluten free'? and she said yes. The meals came and they looked amazing, except my daughter commented on how the pad thai noodles were rice noodles instead of vermicelli. I thought nothing of it at the time. After a couple of bites of the fried rice I became very sick with a severe gluten attack, and am still sick with it. I went to mention it to the woman but she was busy. Now, on thinking of the change in the pad thai noodles, it seems the chef made the wrong dish gluten free, making me very sick in the process.
