Zen Sushi in the Bishop Arts

Highly recommend. Our go-to spot for sushi (and yakisoba), I usually get the beef and vegetable yakisoba and the Xalapa roll, get that and you won’t be disappointed! Friendly and helpful staff, they have a menu marked for gluten free options, and are great for dine in or take out!

I must eat gluten free and therefore haven't had sushi in over a year. I've been having a hankering for it though, and with a dear friend in town I thought it would be a lovely treat to find some quality gf sushi. Just moved to Bishop Arts and didn't realize this place is walking distance from my new home! We walked over, were seated promptly, and the waitress explained all of our gluten free options. They use real crab (imitation crab has wheat!), so we ordered several rolls with crab in them and went to town. Our waitress was lovely, the rolls were amazing, and they had tamari for us to use. Overall a wonderful experience. The only danger is to my wallet since I now know that a sushi place exists so close to me.
