P
Classic Italian-American food on the famous Arthur Ave. ~30 min wait on a Saturday night. I wasn’t expecting mind blowing food so the expectations were just right. The food was to be expected, just normal Italian food, with an emphasis on Italian American, along with a few twists on the menu (eg: cacio e pepe w/ artichoke hearts). The pizza tasted like a standard neopolitan pie, the puttanesca was okay, and the eggplant parmesan was quite good. The puttanesca was w/ gluten free noodles that were cooked well, but the sauce was just fine. The olives were definitely low quality canned black olives. I would say if the pasta dishes don’t look to appealing just get a pizza and call it a day. The interior definitely gives off Cheesecake Factory vibes so definitely more of a family group friendly place than a date night spot.

We where very impressed with the food. The gluten free pasta had a good consistency. The waiter was very knowledgeable and knew the risotto was cooked in the same water as the pasta, so we are grateful for a knowledgeable wait staff. The house wine was excellent, I had the Malbec.
