Zizzi - Chislehurst

Went for a birthday dinner with 9 girlfriends. Our server was very pleasant and welcoming, but struggled with the bill and declared that payment for a glass of wine was outstanding, although we knew it wasn't. Plenty of choice including gluten-free and vegan dishes, plus a 3 course menu offering some savings on the a la carte.. However, one of our group didn't get the gluten-free pepperoni pizza she was expecting which had been substituted with a different version. Food arrived in dribs and drabs, so some of us were still waiting a good 15-20 minutes after others had received their food. Unfortunately I'd lost my appetite by then and couldn't eat much, so requested a doggy bag to take the remainder home. When we settled the bill I was taken aback to find I'd been charged £1.95 for just a splash of soda with my wine - extortionate in my opinion. All in all, it's a pleasant place for a group meal and you're not deafened by booming music all night.
