Went for an early dinner. Was quiet-ish started off with awkward questions when said gluten free. 'Do you have an allergy or is it choice'. Explanation of coeliac in family so avoidance and ceoliac is also not an allergy its autoimmune disease.
Seated and given the only gf folder in the whole restaurant that wasn't easy to navigate.
Drinks were great. Daughter got a mocktail which was to die for.
Starters came and were delicious. Then waited a good half hour afyer finishing startes to be brought our mains before the table had been cleared for space.
Portion sizes were large so asked for takeaway which tubs were provide.
After waiting another half hour asked a member of staff for dessert to be taken away. Another 20 minutes and they were brought to the table on plates. So had to uncomfortably repeat that we would like them to take away as we were needing to leave. I would recommend going at a very quiet time as when the restaurant got busy we were left waiting a ridiculous amount of time. Food good. Service not so great.
