I have celiac. We came here while visiting Ashland because we had heard about the fried chicken, which was really good. However, I ordered a sandwich on gluten-free bread and it came on their rye bread. I ate it without thinking about it, but partway through realized it didn't seem like gluten-free bread. The server confirmed it was rye bread and sort of apologized. He took $2.40 off the cost of the sandwich, which seems insufficient for how sick I'm going to get. The fried chicken was amazing, but now I'm wondering how careful they are with that, since they don't seem to care about the sandwiches being gluten-free.

Best food ever. Everything was gluten free but amazing. Our group had 2 gluten free celiac eaters and 4 gluten eaters And all 6 of us LOVED it. Best gluten free bun of their life. The brisket dip sandwich was phenomenal. Mac and cheese was delicious. The fried chicken sandwich, the popcorn chicken, the hush puppies, the deviled eggs, the chicken tortilla soup. All gluten free and so good. We recommend just ordering one of everything. Service was great. 1000/10 Please go here, you won't be disappointed whether you need gluten free or not. P.s. get the pickles.
