We popped in yesterday to ask about gluten free cake options. There were none but they offered to bake if we came back today. We arrived about 10.30 to find the whole place full and told them we would return later. We came back about 15.30 and had an utterly delicious cherry cake - not a true Black Forest cake - it was missing chocolate and alcohol - but very light and full of flavour. Like many bakeries outside the UK it wasn’t sweet but was good enough to eat several slices. (I didn’t). Highly recommend this lovely cafe. I would love the recipe for the cake

I can't rate the rooms because I was there for breakfast. Great selection, despite the small menu. I definitely recommend stopping by! The cakes and tarts also looked delicious; I'd love to try them on my next visit. The person at the next table asked if they had gluten-free rolls? Yes, they do have fresh ones, if you let them know when you order. Gluten-free cake was available at the counter.
