After over a year of missing out on girls' night dinners, our first choice for a post-vaccine indoor dinner was Fire + Wine. I am gluten free, my best friend is in the middle of a Whole30 and my other friend is a new mama who fits in one whole meal a day in between working full time and taking care of a baby.
The waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and quirky. He answered all of our questions with ease and NO judgement!
I ordered a glass of Cabernet and the Blackened Salmon Salad. The wine was rich, a touch sweet and smooth. My dinner had an exquisite mix of textures, flavors and aromas. The salmon had a crunchy, salty exterior and was buttery smooth on the inside. The salad was peppery, crisp and perfectly complimented by the smooth avocado and sour charred lemon.
