Fantastic food, poor overall service. I have attended Honto twice. On one occasion I became ill from the overwhelmingly dim, dull, and poorly ventilated surroundings, so I needed a breath of fresh air. No one queried why we left or if we were okay. The food is spectacular in all aspects, my friend who has coeliac disease, also marvelled at the substitutions. Though the food is absolutely divine, their service lacks and lets them down in almost every way. The sommelier was brilliant, the servers are simply not up to par or are not trained to handle more than a couple tables. I will not be back.

I have dined here multiple times and the food, service, ambience and wine selection are all excellent. One of our diners has gluten-free requirements and this was catered to without hesitation. Mason was the waiter on the most recent visit and his attention and knowledge of the products available were second to none. Well done all.
