I've visited taim two times and tried 4 different items. From the start, the lobby is large and well lit. There are some places to sit both inside and outside. Parking is more than ample. All the food looks fresh and you are met with a mild pleasant aroma when you enter. I'm unaware if there is table service, but you can call ahead and there is an area for food pickup. The service you are met with is basically an assembly line of options before you get to the cashier. Some items are made freshly (impossible kebobs) and others were in holding trays. You have your option of ordering your food in a bowl or in a pita. Of the mains, the chicken shawarma was delicious. It was a seasoned breast in a light sauce. Thumbs up for flavor and two thumbs up for not overcooking the chicken as it was still moist. The chicken is served slightly shredded. More seasoning would have made this dish a bit better. Meatballs. These were the most disappointing main. The meatballs were somewhat dry and not as inviting as other options. They would definitely rely on a sauce. Meatless meatballs. These were excellent. Both flavorful and moist. These were on the dryer side, but eaten with with hummus or couscous, it evens out. The pickled hot peppers are for sure hot! Impossible kebobs. Also excellent. A nice crunch and an explosion of terrific seasoning inside. There is an abundant amount of coriander seed flavor in these, which is the seed for cilantro. If you're one of those who do not like cilantro, thus choice may not be for you. Of the sauces tried, spicy green chili tastes of fresh cilantro, chili's and has a spicy finish. Tahini is a good spreadable or dipping sauce which has a nice subtle sesame flavor. Harissa was a little spicy and thick, but a good strong flavor. For toppings, the olives are kalamata and are cut lengthwise. These remind me of fresh from the jar. The feta has a creamy consistency. Marinated tomatoes are mild but tasty. Cucumbers and chickpeas are both deliciously seasoned. Of the pickled options, all seem to be freshly pickled and had a nice crunch which is typically missing from jarred. I had the red pepper babaganoush on separate occasions. The first time I got hints of Chipotle, which I do not like. The second time I did not taste Chipotle, but a nice roasted red pepper. Couscous was flavorful and moist. I found the rice to be mildly undercooked. The hummus is mildly flavored. Pickled onions were likely my favorite. The ginger mint tea is delicious. It would be great if they offered an unsweetened version as it did taste sugary. The baklava was tasty, but was on the borderline dry side and needed more honey, which likely would have fixed the dry. Pitas are soft, fresh, moist and inviting. For a price point somewhere between a diner meal and a combo meal at bk or McDonald's, taim is a great choice that offers fresh ingredients. Portion sizes are excellent. This is also a good place to bring someone with food restrictions such as gluten, vegan, vegetarian, etc. The bathrooms and lobby were clean. Bathroom soap smelled good. Two thumbs up for having paper towels rather than an air dryer.
