As one of the longest tenants in Building 215, I’ve had the opportunity to see the property evolve over the years, and I want to take a moment to highlight the exceptional staff who make all the difference.
Susana Caceres, in particular, deserves a huge shout-out for her support of the tenants needs. Always a smile and always welcoming when visiting the office for any needs related to the community. She consistently goes above and beyond to make the experience here smooth, welcoming, and reliable, whether it’s handling deliveries or addressing the daily needs that come with living in a large building.
Alongside Susana, Brandy Plumber, Omer Cemenja, Marty Colleran, Larry, Danny, Devon, and the entire front desk team have always strived to serve residents with professionalism and care. Their efforts to create a positive atmosphere are truly appreciated.
The new management has worked hard to enhance the building’s appeal and functionality. The grand lobby is like walking into a five-star hotel.
Some age-related issues, like the elevators, are finally being addressed with new plans in place. While additional front door staff would help manage the demands of three interconnected buildings, and the package room could use more dedicated support, the current team remains attentive and willing to assist however they can.
The upgraded amenities, including the beautiful new gym, are a welcome addition. The private gardens remain a peaceful place to relax. I’d love to see a rooftop patio added in the future. The building’s location is unbeatable, with the Q, 5, and 6 trains just a block away, plus the Crosstown bus and Select Bus Service on 2nd Avenue for easy access.
Practical features like the spacious units, larger than many nearby buildings, and the convenient driveway for unloading or pick-ups add to the building’s everyday livability.
Overall, Building 215 has taken a big step forward in service and appeal thanks to thoughtful upgrades and a staff that genuinely cares. Two thumbs up to the staff who deserve the applause. Todd
