It has been a long time since I have felt like myself Today I had my aesthetician , Melissa, give me an Awakening Facial. It was amazing. You feel the stress leave and you truly relax. I had an appointment with my long time esthetician, Melissa, today at Aura Metier. From the moment I walked in, a sense of peace and welcome was evident. The air was filled with calming music and I was entranced with the ambiance surrounding me as I walked down the hall to my treatment room for a facial. The "amenities", which, by the way, are at no extra expense to the client, are very impressive! Having a soft bag to leave my jewelery and any other articles in was very much appreciated. And this was just the beginning! The comfortable table, cushiony headrest and soft sheet with a plush comforter were of the finest quality. My esthetician had such a beautiful aura surrounding her, in the way she spoke, the way she performed the most relaxing facial and explained exactly what she was using and the effects of the all natural products that the owner, Valerie, handpicks herself. The entire experience from beginning to end was so uplifting and therapeutic. I was offered delicious biscuits and mints as I was leaving! Again, the little touches are so important! I look forward to my next visit, which i already booked, and to meeting the owner of this amazing holistic gem of a spa. It is beyond a spa, it is an experience one needs to have for themselves!
