Adult education school offers GED and CNA training with a program length slightly longer than most. The atmosphere supports computer learning alongside traditional courses. Some misinformation about CNA license renewal circulates, but recertification requires only an application fee and testing.

You only have to pay an application fee and choose a testing location to recertify.

Once you’ve completed a training after 1980, you are eligible to retest to become recertified.

Being employed at a hospital does not qualify for renewal of the CNA license.
